Losing a loved one is one of life’s most difficult moments. Kingston Muslim Association is here to support families with compassion, dignity, and care during this challenging time.
Our free funeral service includes:
- Collection of the deceased from hospitals, hospices, private residences, or mortuaries
- Respectful care and secure storage at Kingston Mosque’s cold storage facility
- Arrangement of Ghusl (ritual washing) for both brothers and sisters
- Shrouding (Kafan) or preparation for casket burial
- Assistance with arranging burial at the family’s preferred cemetery within London
- Janazah prayer arrangements at Kingston Mosque or another mosque chosen by the family
- Guidance and support for the family throughout the entire funeral and burial process
There is no charge for these services.
Families are responsible for paying the cemetery office directly for burial fees.
To help us continue providing this service for the benefit of the community, families may make a voluntary Sadaqah donation on behalf of the deceased. There is no fixed amount every contribution, however small, helps us support future families in their time of need.

We are a traditional madrasah in modern times, offering Quran recitation with tajweed, memorisation, du’as and Islamic Studies using the Safar Academy syllabus.
